To provide a respite weekend in the Colorado Rockies for married couples that have experienced the death of a child.2 Corinthians 1:3-4“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

The weekend marriage respite retreat is hosted at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park. It is a mix of the reality of loss, yet the evident hope of a marriage that is daily relying on God’s promises. The weekend will be filled with a balanced mix of fellowship, encouraging content for your marriage, and free time to experience the Rocky Mountains.
“The weekend felt so perfectly orchestrated and purposefully planned out, but then again, somehow, it also felt very organic and natural. The time spent in prayer and community with them and God, allowed us to share fellowship, great food, the beautiful outdoors, and was a true respite from our very painful reality. We were able to laugh, cry and just breathe... together... as a couple. We were gently guided towards each other in our grief, to be a lifeline and anchor for each other by seeking the truth in God’s word. The Living Hope Mountain Respite is more than just a place to enjoy God’s beautiful creation, it is a place to find hope...and to take a deep breath!”
